This outdoor workout class in LA is unique and fun. It’s located in the parking lot of the studio. Platefit is a high-intensity interval training workout on top of a vibrating plate called Power Plates. The guided class uses hand weights, bands, and smash balls. The classes are only 27-minute. You burn enough calories in those 27-minute. Vibration workouts wake the body’s cell, increase circulation, and detoxes the lymphatic system.

But don’t forget your face mask and grip socks since you can’t workout without them. Two-week unlimited is $49 for new clients.

02. Socially Distanced Workout Classes in LA: BÜNDA

It’s one of the best workout classes in Los Angeles. Bünda is a boutique fitness studio in West Hollywood founded by two personal trainers. They designed a full-body workout class, but there’s a lot of emphasis on glutes exercises since Bünda means butt in Brazilian Portuguese. This class is an intense workout.  You’ll sweat and be sore afterward but it will feel so good. The class is at the top of the parking lot of the studio with an amazing view of Los Angeles. The equipment is wiped down with a mega sanitizer. Face marks are required while walking around but not at your stations.

03. Socially Distanced Workout Classes in LA: Megareformer

Megareformer is similar to a Pilates reformer class but the reformers are mega and the workout requires more cardio endurance. The Megareformer class is high energy but low impact workout. The mega reformers at Megreformer studio are spaciously distanced out and face masks are required. The classes are outdoor but in a very private space. The instructors are friendly and motivating.

04. Socially Distanced Workout Classes in LA: Barry’s

Barry’s is synonymous with “workout” in Los Angeles. Most importantly, Barry’s has taken its best workout classes outdoors. Barry’s Outdoor is one of the only outdoor workout classes with treadmills. But these outdoor workout classes are no different from Barry’s regular classes. They are still 50 minutes but with silent disco headphones. The strength classes use weights, bands, and bursts of cardio.

05. Socially Distanced Workout Classes in LA: Hot 8 Yoga

Hot 8 Yoga is one of the best yoga classes in Los Angeles. The outdoor classes are located on top of the parking lot. They are silent disco yoga classes. Since they are outdoors, they are not hot yoga classes obviously. Face masks are required and you can bring your own mats if needed.

Which workout would you try? I would love to know.

Happy workouts.

With gratitude,

Liz
