Top 3 Best Boxing Classes in Los Angeles
One of my all-time favorite workouts is boxing. It is not only an awesome way to get fit but also empowering and provides many life lessons. I love boxing because it is a mental and physical challenge. I have curated a list of the best boxing classes in Los Angeles. This list includes the Instaworthy as well as the OG boxing studios.
Boxing is teaching me to focus. I’m like a little kid, I get distracted so easily by a mental to-do list but boxing is teaching me to focus on the moment. There are essential lessons from boxing you can apply to your life. To be persistent. Not to run away from a fight. To be on guard and always keep moving. Be genuine. Luckily, there are so many awesome best boxing studios in Los Angeles.
The Best Boxing Classes in Los Angeles
1. The Best Boxing Classes in Los Angeles: Prevail Boxing

- Location: West Hollywood
- Single class: $30
- Parking: Street
- Book a class here.
It’s the first boxing studio I tried in Los Angeles. It’s a small studio with a friendly front desk. You can schedule classes online. I took the SWEAT boxing class, which is a traditional boxing technique class. They now have more fitness classes that include strength training and SPAR (opponent boxing). The earlier classes tend to fill up faster than the ones at midday. The boxing coach meets with first-timers before each class to give them a run down. The class is divided into sections with a description of each activity on the board. They have the cutest workout gear.
2. The Best Boxing Classes in Los Angeles: Rumble Boxing

- Location: West Hollywood
- Single class: $36
- Parking: Parking lot for $2
- Book a class here.
Rumble Boxing started out in NYC but is having a huge moment here in Los Angeles. This studio could be a little intimidating since it seems like only fitness models go there but really, everyone is there to get their sweat on. The classes are divided into two sections: boxing + strength training. The classes have a nightclub vibe: super loud + dark. The music is awesome. It is an Instaworthy studio. The instructor of the class I took (Nick Lundblad) is super motivating. Read more here.
3. The Best Boxing Classes in Los Angeles: Gloveworx
- Location: Century City & Santa Monica
- Single class: $20 (first-time) – $40 (non-member drop-in)
- Parking: Mall Parking
- Book a class here.
I attended a Gloveworx boxing class at the opening of the Century City location. The boxing coaches that I met were super friendly and made boxing fun. Gloeveworx provides a variety of boxing and strength training classes with larger or small groups as well as one-on-one sessions. Also, they offer a basic/beginner boxing class. If you have never tried boxing before, this studio is for you.
