Growing trees or plants is good for the earth since it assist reduce climate change. There are many amazing organizations you can join to plant a tree on Earth Day.
If that’s not an option, April is the best time to grow tulips, daffodil, wallflower and viola. Also, April is the best time to plant most of your vegetable seeds after the last frost.
Earth Day Tip 03: Buy / Sell to a Consignment Store
By buying and selling your clothes with a consignment store, you’re doubling your recycling efforts. Selling your unwanted clothes, you’re stopping your clothes from being sent to a landfill as waste. Shopping at a consignment store, you are not only saving money but also stopping those clothes from being sent to landfill.
Earth Day Tip 04: Buy Reusable Bags
Reusable bags reduce the impact that plastic has on earth. They are also more practical and durable than plastic bags, so no leaks or mess. Not to mention they are more stylish than the plastic ones.
Earth Day Tip 05: Use a Refillable Water Bottle
A refillable water bottle is better for the earth while a plastic bottle clogs the earth. Consider using refillable water bottles that are 100% eco-friendly and BPA Free.
