5 Face Yoga Exercises to Look and Feel Younger
One of the biggest beauty trends in Los Angeles is Face Yoga. I have attended a couple of sessions with one of the top face yoga instructors in the US. Not only did I learn the facial exercises, but we had so much fun practicing them together. So, I wanted to share with you Five Face Yoga Exercises to Look and Feel Younger. I’m practicing these exercises daily. It’s become part of my nightly routine along with my anti-aging cream.
What is Face Yoga
It is another natural alternative to botox or plastic surgery. If you have been following Liz in Los Angeles, you know I love natural remedies. This practice will teach you how to train and stretch your facial muscles to improve your skin’s elasticity and help reduce wrinkles. The idea is to wake up those sleeping muscles to counteract sagging.

Besides the wrinkle reduction benefits, the beauty of face yoga is no yoga mat or trendy workout clothes are required. You practice at your own pace.
Hold each of these poses for 5 seconds each. Repeat three times on each side. You should do this 1-3 times per day.
Face Yoga Exercise 01: Temple Lift
By practicing this daily, you can help smooth out any sagging skin around the eyes or droopy eyelids. your eyes. It’s the natural alternative to eyebrow lift.

Steps: Place your fingertips on your temples. Position your ring finger on the corner of the eyebrow. Press down to lift and then drop your head towards your shoulder.
Face Yoga Exercise 02: Anti-Double Chin
Thanks to smartphones and social media, we are developing the “Tech Neck” since we are staring at our phones all the time. Or worse, it runs in the family. By practicing this daily, you can fight that double chin.

Steps: Keep your shoulders down, and tip your chin up to the ceiling until you feel a good stretch in the upper neck and chin area. Then, alternate making duck lips and sticking out your tongue. Pro tip: I close my eyes while doing this exercise so I don’t cause wrinkles on my forehead.
Face Yoga Exercise 03: Upper Neck Tightening

Steps: Lift your chin toward the ceiling while moving your jaw forward. You’ll feel a little tightening under your chin. As your neck extends, the muscles in front relax while the side sternocleidomastoid muscles get a workout.
Face Yoga Exercise 04: Outer Cheek Lift
This is way better, cheaper, and less painful than a facelift.

Steps: Move your mouth from “O” to “Ah”. Show at least 8 of your upper teeth. Don’t show your lower teeth. Wrap the lower lip inside.
Face Yoga Exercise 05: Tongue Posture
The easiest but yet the hardest. This exercise is the most important one in my opinion. It leads to higher cheekbones and a stronger jawline. It’s a facelift without surgery or downtime.

Steps: Place the tip of your tongue against the roof of your mouth just above your top teeth. Pull the rest of your tongue flat against the roof of your mouth. Allow your mouth to close. Hold it there, breathing normally
It’s way more affordable than Botox and fillers. I always look for clean beauty, DIY skincare, and natural alternative skin care even when it comes to sunspots.
Instead of putting a mask on the problem area. The problem is resolved.
