Wellness Brands Trending in LA
WLNSS APP
WLNSS is a wellness app with the goal to make wellness services more accessible & affordable for Los Angeles wellness warriors. They offer treatments such as acupuncture, cupping and vitamin IVs (their most popular service). You can order straight to your door within 60 minutes just with a few clicks. Like Postmates is to food, WLNSS is for wellness. All of the treatments are performed by a network of trained specialists.
As much as I wanted to try vitamin IVs, I choose acupuncture session with a cupping session as an add on since I was feeling super congested and stressed out. I discovered acupuncture 8 years ago and have been obsessed since then. That’s my preferred treatment for minor pain and aches instead of pain killers. Honestly, I prefer acupuncture to a massage sometimes since makes me feel more relaxed. My specialist was Veronica, who is very knowledgeable about acupuncture. She was so professional and friendly – the kind of person you don’t mind inviting to your home. She set up in one of the rooms and brought her own relaxing music too. I felt super relaxed after the session and would love to try the other services. If you want in, download the app here and use code “LIZINLA” to get 20% off of all of the services.
Daily Harvest
Daily Harvest is my favorite way to get my smoothie on. After an energy workout, I always crave a smoothie but I dislike the smoothies at the gym. I wonder it has too many fruits vs veggies, it’s not that tasty and comes out to be so expensive when I make substitutions like almond milk instead of whole milk.
When I make a smoothie at home, I tend to make a mess. It takes up too much time to cut the fruits and veggies and more time to clean up. Plus I don’t always have all the ingredients. More importantly, I’m always rushing from the gym to a meeting or an event and don’t have time to stop at home for a smoothie. That’s why I love Daily Harvest. The smoothies are pre-portioned cups packed with farm-frozen organic fruits and vegetables. Every recipe requires one step to prepare and is ready to eat in 5 minutes, MAX.
All Daily Harvest recipes are gluten-free and vegan, with zero preservatives or additives. B
Les Mills On Demand
I have been talking about LES MILLS On Demand for a while now. It was one of my top picks for Father’s Day Gift Guide. I just LES MILLS On Demand is a great wellness service for anyone since you can use it to work out ANYWHERE, ANYTIME. Whether you have a gym membership or not. Let’s see face it, we might have a gym membership but that doesn’t guarantee the time to get to the gym. It’s perfect for new moms who can only work out when the baby is napping and you can’t time when the baby is going to nap. It’s perfect for people with unconventional work hours or those who dread the gym. The amazing playlists with get you so motivated to work out, so much that before you know you’re done with your work out. You can
Aera For Home
If you struggle with sleep the way I do especially when you’re stressed out and your Sleepytime cup of tea is not cutting, you will want to try Aera. I have used it for the past couple of weeks as part of my nightly routine. I schedule Aera to turn on while I’m getting ready to go to the bed. By the time I set into my bedroom, it had been transformed into a peaceful sanctuary.
Aera has an incredible diffuser (probably the first of its kind) that has an app that can schedule and control using it from anywhere. Your house can smell like a spa before you get home from a long day at work. Shop here (Touch: $150, Smart: $200). USE CODE “LIZINLA20” to get 20% off (valid until 6/24/2019).
Stronger The Label
Stronger is an activewear brand that’s challenging women to be STRONGER. The brand’s message really resonated with me. STRONGER. A wellness lifestyle definitely means a STRONGER you. Stronger will make you want to workout with their colorful and stylish designs that are inspired by mother nature. The material is thick enough for squats but light enough so you don’t feel like you are wearing a surfer wetsuit. The packaging is absolutely adorable. It seems like it’s durable but I was just gifted with a set. I have worn it to boxing, yoga, and Zumba – and felt comfortable in the set. If you want your own set, click here and use code “LOSANGELES20” to get 20 off.
What are you new wellness brand are you currently trying?
With gratitude,
Liz
