I recently had the opportunity to test drive G70 for a week. I wanted to share with you my adventures with Genesis G70 – 2019 North American Car of the Year^TM.

Genesis Open

Genesis Open is a PGA golf tournament. It’s the biggest golf event in Los Angeles. Genesis USA sponsors the golf tournament.

This event made me re-think golf. Genesis Open made me realize how social golf can be.

I attended Genesis Open 2019 held at The Riviera Country Club as a guest of the Genesis PR team. Genesis Open is a social event – not just a sporting event. This golf tournament gives the guests the chance to see the world’s best golfers up close at The Riviera. There are tons of fun and social activations at the event. Guests were able to enjoy some of LA’s best food trucks and cocktails at the tournament. At the Genesis Lounge on Hole 14, guests were able to see and interact with the entire fleet of Genesis luxury vehicles, enjoy sights and sounds from soft seating and have their golf swings analyzed by professional golfers. 

The date for the next golf tournament is February 10-16, 2020

Genesis G70: 2019 Car of the Year

Genesis is the newest luxury automotive brand that has everything you will want or need in a car. Obviously, it is luxurious. It has some of the best safety features. It comes with the best technology to make life more convenient.

I really enjoyed driving G70 Sport, which was a loaner from Genesis’s PR team. It has quickly become my favorite car. In my opinion, the best feature of G70 is its parking guidance. G70 makes (parallel) parking easier. This car practically parks itself. For example, the parking guidances will alert you via camera if you park in the red zone.

It includes complimentary Genesis Valet Service, which means pick up and delivery for service appointments. You don’t have to wait around the dealership for the shuttle to take you back to work, that is if you work close enough to the dealership.

The Genesis Connected Services not only offers tons of safety and guidance features but also remote features via Amazon Echo Dot. Alexa by Amazon can remotely lock/unlock your car. It can even start your car for you when it’s too cold to go outside.
