HAPPENING IN LA: JANUARY 2020
HAPPENING IN LOS ANGELES THIS MONTH
Begin the year with a memorable pop up that will bring out your creative side.
Museum of Illusions is an Instaworthy must-see spot in Los Angeles located in Hollywood. This pop experience is perfect for the whole family, friends hanging out, and a fun date idea. You can research posing ideas on Instagram before you head out there. There’s also fun posing ideas posted on the wall by each installation. There are two exhibits: The Upside Down exhibit and the 3D Illusions exhibit. You can create memorable photos at this pop up since it brings out your creative side.
Insider tips: Head over to the Upside Down exhibit first since there is a separate line for that exhibit, which builds up throughout the day. You’ve 4 minutes per room in the Upside Down exhibit, which is not a lot of time if you’re there with the whole family. So, I suggest researching pose ideas before you get there. This way you have an idea what kind of pictures you want to take and will save time. You can wander through the 3D section freely with no time restriction. Tickets: $12-$42.
Eat your way across L.A. at dineL.A. restaurant week from 1/17 to 1/31! Click here for more information.
Celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day at California African American Museum. It’s a full day of art culture activities planned for the whole family with keynote speakers, music and a children’s march. There are food trucks and DJ-provided music to get your groove on. This happening in LA on Monday, January, 20 at 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Cost: Free.
