This edition of Happening in Los Angeles: December 2019 includes This December Discover (a sustainable boutique in Los Angeles and the world’s first ACV gummies) and Happening in Los Angeles This Month (a fun way to spend time together this holiday season). I will update the events section throughout the month as new fun events pop up.
THIS DECEMBER DISCOVER
To Be Continued (TBC) Consignment is a vintage and luxury resale boutique that just opened up on Robertson Blvd in Beverly Hills. It’s the perfect boutique for those who have high-end fashion taste but without an Amex Black Card. They carry tons of designers dresses 50%-75% off the original price with tags on. So someone’s else impulse shopping fail can be your gain. I got to borrow this Valentino dress and Versace belt from the boutique for a recent photoshoot.
I’m so excited about Goli gummies. Goli is the world’s Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) gummies. The gummies taste so much better than ACV. For the benefits of ACV, click here. The gummies are packed with antioxidants and vitamin B. Goli has definitely helped control my appetite. Use my promo code “lizz55” to get 5% off. Every purchase made provides a 1-for-1 Vitamin grant to provide a child in need with vitamins. Order Goli.
HAPPENING IN LOS ANGELES THIS MONTH
Cleo’s Bottomless Brunch
Brunch in the city just got a lot more fabulous with Cleo Third St.’s “Bottomless Brunch” on the weekend (from 10 am to 3 pm each Saturday & Sunday. You enjoy a Mediterranean twist on brunch favorites. Think veggie omelets, avocado toast, Horiatiki Salata (Greek Salad), Moroccan gunpowder latte, smoothies; as well as endless: Mimosas, Bellinis & White Sangria; and a DJ spinning the best tunes.
I attended my first opera ever: The Magic Flute (composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart). It’s an original LA Opera production (until 12/15). It did not disappoint. It’s an awesome opera for beginners, music lovers, silent movie fans, of course: opera fans. It has love and romance, good vs evil and comedy (Papageno was my fave character). I was super intrigued by the graphics. I overheard so many languages at the intermission that I forgot for a second I was in LA. Click here for the performance schedule.
2020 is around the corner. Go get your goals.
