How to Plan a Colorful Bridal Shower
Planning a bridal shower for my sister with a guest list of 45-people was not an easy task. Luckily, I had the help of Magnolia Bakery, Pinterest Boards, and a couple of creative friends. So here is How to Plan a Colorful Bridal Shower.
How to Plan a Colorful Bridal Shower
We decided on a traditional bridal shower with a somewhat untraditional menu. The late brunch menu included a variety of home-made salads as well as specialty sushi rolls, mushroom & spinach quiches, salmon kebab skewers and Caprese skewers catered by Schwartz Bakery in Los Angeles, CA.
The drink menu was very simple: wine, champagne, and mimosa.

Thanks to the stylish-yet-delicious specialty cakes and cupcakes by Magnolia Bakery, the gorgeous dessert table was also part of the decorations. Of course, their famous banana pudding was out of this world.

Pinterest inspired a couple of simple and fun games. The craziest date idea for the “Date Jar” game was “get high & go to Ikea“. The best line for the “Who Am I?” game was “You told me to start saving for a Chanel handbag when I was 15“.
The outfit of the gorgeous bride-to-be was styled by moi. She wore a white lace dress by Cynthia Steffe (on sale) styled with Valentino studded pumps in black. To go with the pastel theme of the shower, I wore a guipure lace dress by Alexis in dusty aqua styled with DVF studded pumps in pink.
Thankfully, it turned out to be a beautiful, stylish and fun-filled fete with memories to last a lifetime. Looking forward to planning the next joyous occasion.
