It is no secret wellness is very important to me. Making wellness a priority and stay healthy is more important than ever now! This Homemade Immune Boosting Smoothie You’ll Love has ingredients that boost the immune system, high in Vitamin C and low in carb.

Pineapple + Matcha Smoothie

Pineapple + Matcha Smoothie is filled with manganese- and Vitamin C-rich pineapple and fat-burning coconut. More importantly, a dose of matcha lowers stress and boosts the immune system. Matcha is extremely powerful when it comes to the immune system. This is not a sweet recipe (feel free to add monk fruit sugar if you like). Click here for the recipe.

Matcha is Great for Immunity

Matcha strengthens the immune system. It limits the invasion and growth of viruses and bacteria in the body. According to Tenzo Tea: “The special antioxidant in matcha tea called is called EGCg. It is effective in fighting and protecting the body against various bacterial and viral infections.” Read more about EGCg’s anti-infective properties here.

You can often find two different varieties of matcha: ceremonial and culinary. Culinary matcha is great for baking. I suggest ceremonial matcha for this recipe; however, culinary matcha will do.

Also, try these matcha pancakes that are easy to make and delicious.
