My Review of ‘Your Super 5-Day Detox‘
I prepped for ‘Your Super 5-Day Detox‘ by cutting out coffee, almost all dairy products, and meat a couple of weeks before the detox. Therefore, my post quarantine detox went smoothly. I will share day by day of detox in real-time. Then I will add the results of the post quarantine detox.
Day 1: The daily detox meal plan and recipe makes this detox so easy. All the meals were so delicious. I love having the support of the Facebook group and sharing our experience together. You can even find people that are starting the Detox the same day as you. It makes you feel like you aren’t not doing this alone. It’s women and men of all ages coming together to share thier Detox tips and experiences.
Day 2: Again, love the Detox booklet that include the detox meal plan for each day. It makes my morning easier. Blend a green smoothie and snack to go for the morning then whip up an easy salad recipe for lunch. When I get home it’s time for another detox smoothie for dinner and a turmeric latte with oats milk. I’m not gonna lie, I got super sleepy before lunch so I went for a walk.
Day 3: I seriously can’t how full I feel after having the green smoothies in the mornings. I normally have to have a big breakfast otherwise I feel hungry all day. But I definitely feel full until lunch. I do still have a snack in between. I love the support of the FB community. I go to them with questions. I no longer felt super sleepy today but energized.
Day 4: My energy is definitely still up. I’m tracking my progress and getting support from the FB community. I’m running out of groceries though. I guess I didn’t buy enough avocado and garden salad. I had to make a few substitutions.
Day 5: The hardest day since it’s a holiday weekend and my family has made tons of yummy food. Basically, all of my favorites but I resisted temptation since almost at the finish line.
Results: I felt more energized during this detox that I decide to continue with the plant-based diet for another week. I don’t have that heavy feeling or dehydration feeling after eating each meal. The ones who are going to see the great results are those who’s diet includes a lot of processed food but this detox plan with be the hardest on them too. If you’re motivated, you can definitely complete the 5-day detox. I highly recommend it to anyone to reboot their digestive system and strengthen immune system.
