Raw Halva Recipe – Persian Superfood Dessert

Ingredients
- 1 cup of raw ground rice (white rice happens to work better for this recipe but can be substituted with brown rice or even chickpeas)
- 1.5 cups of raw organic tahini
- 1 cup of pitted dates
- 1 cup of powdered almonds
- one tablespoon of rosewater
- 1 teaspoon of cardamom
- 1-2 tablespoons of ground coconut
- 1 teaspoon of ashwagandha powder (if desired)
- 1 teaspoon of maca powder (if desired)
Instructions
Put all ingredients in the blender and pulse until well blended together.
Mold into small ball sizes or any shape desired.
Sprinkle with ground coconut.
If desired, place the halvah in the fridge for 30 minutes.
