Meditation is the new hot yoga. It’s good for the body and the mind. Meditation is a great healing practice to achieve mental clarity. I have been on a quest to find The Best Meditation Classes in Los Angeles and here’s the list so far!
The Best Meditation Classes in Los Angeles
Unplug Meditation is one of the world’s first meditation studio. They had two locations: West Hollywood and Santa Monica. You truly unplug at Unplug Meditation since they take your phone at the front desk. You will not be tempted to reach for your phone. Each class and instructor at Unplug Meditation is unique. So you will not have the same experience each time you go there. Parking is available for the WeHo location, which is amazing since street parking is hard to find on Melrose. The front desk is super friendly. If you are new to meditation, this is where I would start.
The DEN Meditation
The DEN Mediation is a stylish studio with yoga classes and meditation workshops. There are two locations: La Brea and Studio City. What you will notice about this studio is its stylish interior. The meditation classes have posh mats and pillow bags. The La Brea location is located in a busy neighborhood with tons of shops and restaurants nearby, which means plenty of dinner options after a meditation workshop. However, it’s hard to find parking before class starts. Most of the workshops are guided but some are not. I prefer guided meditation vs. sitting in silence since I don’t get much out of just sitting in silence. I would love to go back to try the CBD workshop (good for anxiety) and Reiki (good for energy shifting).
Five Sense Collective
Five Sense Collective is on the Best Mediation Classes list because it has a new approach to mediation. The founders are two boss babes. All five senses are used in the workshops. This studio is the most picturesque and an Instaworthy spot in LA located in Malibu. You can host your own events like a moon circle baby shower and create a customized ceremony.
Ceremony Mediation is located in Venice CA. The classes are great for beginners but for the experienced meditator as well. They have different types of classes from mindfulness, to sound bath, to gong bath, to reiki chakra classes. What makes this studio special is the OM Garden. You can sit outside in a beautiful garden to meditate. How great is that?
Have you tried mediation? If so, how was your experience?
