The Natural Alternative to Botox & Fillers

Facial Acupuncture - The Natural Alternataive to Botox

Los Angeles is internationally known for Botox; it is the city where luxury apartments offer Botox injections as an amenity. However, I always search for natural anti-aging alternatives. I believe when we work so hard to remove toxins from our bodies. So, why voluntary add more toxins to it? So, what’s the natural alternative to Botox & Fillers?

Cosmetic acupuncture is an Eastern anti-aging beauty secret that improves skin appearance in a natural and toxin-free way.

I am so grateful my favorite skincare clinic offers Cosmetic Acupuncture by Franck Joly Acupuncture Cosmétique.

Each session with Franck starts with a body and mind assessment. Based on the assessment, Franck treats the body symptoms before moving on to the anti-aging facial acupuncture. Body acupuncture reduces inflammation and stress as well as builds up the immune system.

The facial acupuncture treatment starts with cleansing and toning the skin (like any other facial). Then the main event – the cosmetic facial acupuncture.

The facial treatment involves the insertion of fine needles into the face to increase collagen production and blood circulation. This will lead to tightening the skin. Franck utilizes a skin cool ice roller before the needle insertion to minimize pain.

After the facial acupuncture, Franck applies an anti-aging mask under red light therapy.  Based on Franck’s recommendation, I normally leave the mask on overnight. Finally, the facial acupuncture is completed with a vitamin treatment.

Franck exclusively uses Environ skincare products during the facial treatment. He developed the Environ brand on the West coast for 14 years and he is currently a consultant for DermaConcepts, the US distributor of the Environ products.

Franck is also an expert in CIT aka medical skin needling or micro-needling. It is a new skin rejuvenation treatment designed to improve the appearance of wrinkles and scars. The technique involves the use of a device that contains fine needles to puncture the skin to create new collagen production. I still haven’t worked up the courage to try this new treatment but if you want to see results, just take a look at Franck’s skin.

Each session is 90 minutes. It usually takes five-six sessions to see results. The results are subtle; however, I noticed an overall brightness right away. I normally go in every few weeks for maintenance. I love the natural-looking results of brighter skin and firmer cheekbones.

xo,

Liz
