Happy Hour. It’s the best hour of the day. Especially after a long day at work. When I worked in Arizona on a very stressful project, my coworkers and I always ended up going for Happy Hour after work. Of course, Happy Hour isn’t just an hour. And, Happy Hour in Los Angeles can start as early as 2:00 pm but it’s the best time to discover best restaurants at discounted prices. I have discovered the top Happy Hours in Los Angeles.
The Top Happy Hours in Los Angeles
Cecconi’s West Hollywood
Cecconi’s is a retro, chic Italian restaurant on Melrose Ave. Since it’s affiliated with the Soho House, it’s a celebrity favorite. They also have the best Happy Hours (HH). It’s the perfect time to discover Cecconi’s in my opinion. It’s more affordable. It’s more chill. And the apps are phenomenal. I’m not a huge fan of Italian food but Cecconi’s HH Venetian tapas like truffle arancini (vegan) make my mouth water. There’s plenty of vegan options. My favorite drink is the Eastern Standard and popular drink is aperol spritz.
WHEN: Tuesday – Saturday, 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
COST: Food & drinks from $3 – $6 -$9
WeHo Bistro is a French-style bistro in heart of West Hollywood. The cocktails are exceptional. So is the service. This is where you will want to go when you need to start HH as soon as possible. Of course, it’s referred to Magic hour at WeHo Bistro. There’s even free parking available. The popular menu choices are truffle Mac n’ Cheese, Hummus Plate and Chicken & Waffle.
WHEN: Monday – Sunday, 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. & 10:00 p.m. – 12 a.m.
COST: Food & drinks from $4-$8
Full Disclosure: I was invited for a complimentary HH at WeHo Bistro.
Montage Beverly Hills is a luxury hotel in Beverly Hills with an adjacent courtyard, which is a popular local hangout spot. The Cafe inside of the hotel offers a happy hour menu. It’s a great place to grab a small bite at a later hour. This is a perfect spot for people watching. You can also get treated to live music in the courtyard during the summer.
WHEN: Monday – Sunday (daily), 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
COST: Food & drinks from $6-$15
Conservatory is the neighborhood’s bar, restaurant and cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. The HH aka Golden Hour is at the bar or the outdoor cafe. Last time, I was there it seemed it’s a great first date spot. I can see why it is super cozy and cute. Since there’s outdoor seating, you can seat and watch the sunset.
WHEN: Monday – Sunday (daily), 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Conservatory Bar and Cafe at Conservatory
COST: Food & drinks from $6-$14
Full Disclosure: I attended Conservatory’s launch party with StayTony. Read about it here.
Del Frisco’s Double Eagle – Century City
Del Frisco’s is a steak house that also serves seafood and fine wine. It’s located inside of Westfield Century mall. Del Frisco’s just launched Sip & Savor for wine lovers. Sip & Savor consisted of three wine pours and three bites. This is your spot for Wine Wednesday.
WHEN: Monday – Sunday (daily), 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
As always, remember to drink responsibly!
