Drive-in movie theatres are a once in a lifetime thing to do in Los Angeles. With the current pandemic, makeshift drive-in movie theaters are becoming popular. Like the drive-in experience at The Americana at Brand with Street Food Cinema. You can watch The Princess Bride on August 1 with popcorn, water, and boxed candy. In addition, you can pre-order a meal from the best restaurants at the mall.
Also, there is San Fernando Valley Summer Drive-In located at Sherman Oaks’ Westfield Fashion Square Mall showing classic and favorite movies from. Aug 13th to Aug 16th.
02. Things to Do in Los Angeles in August: Concerts in Your Car
Concerts in Your Car is one of the only things to do in Los Angeles to hear live music this summer. It’s located at the Ventura County Fairgrounds. The parking lot has turned into a concert theater that fits 700 cars. You will tune in via FM radio in your car. The band will be performing live on a stage (plus four massive video screens).

Get one stand-out item or the most popular dish at each place. Curate a list and stick to 4-5 different places within driving distance from each other.

The biggest sale of the year is happening in August and you can shop it comfortably at-home. It is the best time to stock up on things that don’t normally go on sale.
