During quarantine, we are calling friends or FaceTiming them. But how about hanging out? Why not organize virtual hangouts to spend time with your friends. All around the globe, people are organizing book clubs, happy hours, and virtual game of Dungeons & Dragons. 01. Plan Cinema Virtual Hangouts

You can’t go to the movie theatre during the quarantine. But that doesn’t mean, the movie theater can’t come to you! Laemmle Theatres is offering new indie and foreign films virtually. Laemmle Virtual Cinema includes movies such as The Booksellers (a behind-the-scenes look at the New York rare book world and the fascinating people who inhabit it) and Live and Become (Ethiopian Jews journey to Israel). Your virtual viewings support Laemmle Theatres.

02. Organize Museum Virtual Hangouts

The Hammer Museum is offering viewings of artwork from the museum’s past exhibitions (available on Youtube). You can also dive into artist profile videos Watch the Hammer’s digital archives with art friends around the globe.

03. Host Virtual Opera Hangouts
