Holiday Self Care #1: Sleep

Sleep! Because whose body doesn’t need little extra help during the holidays. Sleep has a pretty amazing effect on how you feel. The best way to take care of yourself during the holidays is to get enough sleep. Sleep helps your body boosts energy, facilitates muscle recovery, promotes weight loss, and strengthens the immune system. Sleep will reset, recharge, and restores your body. So show yourself some love with a sleep better routine with essential oils such as lavender and Frankincense.

Holiday Self Care #2: Social Media Detox

One of the way I take care of myself is by indulging in a social media detox. It is important for my mental health and a great way to reconnect with my intuition. During the holidays, we spend too much time online and lose ourselves in other people’s holiday parties and travel plans. But I invited you to take a social media detox. How do you take a social media detox? Delete your Instagram for the weekend or a week. And no YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, or even podcasts. Give yourself permission to disconnect to recommend.

Holiday Self Care #3: Healthy Meal with Daily Harvest

During the holiday, it is the hardest time of the year to eat healthy either because of all the holiday parties or stress eating due to lack of holiday parties. But Daily Harvest makes the question of what’s for dinner simple and you would want to scream into your kitchen sink because of another dirty dish. Daily Harvest delivers to your doorstep ready-made smoothies, chai bowls, harvest bowls, flatbreads, and soups. To get 3 free items with your first order, use my code ‘lizinla“. Order here.

Creative activities will change your mood in a few minutes. The creative process will distract you from everyday anxiety. It can be drawing, painting, dancing or even playing with Magna-tiles. Yes, Magna-tiles. I found them to be so relaxing.
